Making Gaynes Park Covid-Safe

We have taken plenty of steps to ensure that Gaynes Park is a safe environment for everyone who attends our venue. Here are some of the measures that we have put in place.

• A full and thorough risk assessment and extra measures to make the venue Covid-safe

• Additional training for all our staff

• Adapted our service to continue to deliver incredible events that adhere to the government guidelines

• Additional handwashing and sanitising facilities

• Helpful signage throughout the venue

• Enhanced cleaning measures have been implemented with regular recorded checks

• Fully supporting test and trace

Following the Government announcement on 22nd February 2021, we now have a roadmap towards opening up and a clearer idea of how weddings will look in the coming months.

We have a number of options available to you if your wedding is due to be held up to 20th June 2021 that are relevant to the restrictions that will be in place on your wedding date. You can find more information about these on our Wedding Options page. If we have not already spoken to you, we will be contacting all our couples whose wedding dates will be affected to discuss your options and find the best way forward for you.

We ask for a little patience if we haven’t contacted you just yet. It’s a very busy time for us and we are making every effort to help all our couples.

If you have an urgent query, the best way to get in touch with us is by emailing gaynespark@venue-catering.co.uk with your name and wedding date in the subject line. We aim to get back to you within five working days.

The Government guidelines state that they aim for all restrictions on weddings to be lifted on this date. As a result, this means that any wedding from this date onwards can go ahead as planned, without any limits on guest numbers. Please note that this is the earliest possible date for all restrictions to be lifted and may be subject to change. We will of course provide an update and contact all couples if anything changes that will affect weddings. If you have any questions while planning your wedding, please email our events team. As we’ve mentioned, it is a very busy time for us, but we’ll get back to you as soon as we can to help.

We are currently working with a reduced events team and our immediate focus is to work with our couples whose weddings are taking place over the next few months to ensure that we can continue to provide fabulous small events and respond to the changing rules and guidelines.
