Wedding preparations in the Apple Loft Cottage

The morning of your wedding is an integral part of your day. It’s a time to relax as all your wedding planning is complete, but also a time to feel the excitement and anticipation build with your wedding party. From a practical perspective, this is also the time when you need to focus and get ready for your celebrations! There are schedules to stick to but there’s also fun to be had and memories to be made.

The Apple Loft Cottage has been totally re-designed and is now a delightful and luxurious bolthole for the wedding party. It’s spacious, it’s light, it’s full of clever details to make your day better, it’s soothing and it’s also the perfect backdrop for those wedding preparation photos.

Let’s take a look around…

There’s plenty of space to get ready in the Apple Loft Cottage with 4 hair and makeup stations upstairs and 2 downstairs (plus 2 additional sinks and mirrors in the bathroom!). With all this space you can work with multiple hair and makeup artists during the morning to help you keep to your schedule. When it comes to putting on your wedding day outfit, we recommend that you get dressed in the tranquil space upstairs whilst your wedding party await your grand reveal downstairs.

Top tip: Make sure you have enough people to do your (and your wedding party’s!) hair and makeup – we have plenty of stations to accommodate everyone.

We’ve also ensured the all-important mirrors are huge and well-lit, the chairs are comfortable and there are tables and plugs aplenty.

The Apple Loft Cottage is as beautiful as it is practical. Soothing colour combinations, fabulous furnishings and exquisite details make this a memorable location for your wedding preparations. Don’t miss the eclectic extras too, the stunning sofa downstairs and the dreamy pink chairs upstairs.

We’ve even thought of the little details. Why not use the vintage French mannequin to hold your veil or accessories as you get ready? There are also plenty of hooks for dresses and suits, and oodles of room to move about in. You won’t feel cramped or crowded, simply indulged and excited.

Creating memories with your bridal party

You’ll remember your wedding day for the rest of your life and the morning of your big day is where the memories will start. You’ll be surrounded by your best friends, popping champagne and getting pampered and preened to perfection – it really is an incredible time.

Your photographer will want to capture those ‘getting ready’ moments so that you have a complete story of your day and the Apple Loft Cottage and its dreamy interiors provide perfect backdrops.

Top Tip: Make sure there’s plenty of time in your wedding day schedule for your make-up and hairdressing photos plus some time to get dressed, it often takes longer than you think and you don’t want to feel rushed or hurried. Aim to be ready at least an hour before your ceremony to allow for last minute touch ups, photography and a visit from your registrar.

If there’s one moment that is all about the emotion, it’s when the wedding party sees you in all your glory for the first time, in those last minutes before the ceremony, as you step outside the Apple Loft Cottage. The look of pride and love mixed with the knowledge that everything is about to change moves us to tears every time.
