Whether you take your inspiration from a specific era or whether you simply opt for a general vintage look, there are so many decorations and details that you can include. What is vintage wedding style?
Before we start, let’s address the big question – what is vintage wedding style? Well, vintage can mean different things to different people but in short, vintage style takes inspiration from the past. Whether you opt for a particular era or mix and match lots of elements that you love, a vintage wedding will definitely have a feeling of old-fashioned romance. Vintage style is incredibly popular with Gaynes Park couples and the Orangery , Mill Barn and Gather Barn look stunning when they’re dressed and decorated with vintage details. When it comes to weddings, flowers are always a good idea and they’re perfect for vintage weddings. Imagine bouquets full of roses, lisianthus and delicate blooms along with fresh foliage and buttonholes to match. Make sure that your bouquet has lots of texture and work right across a pretty colour palette for a real vintage look. Finish your bouquet with lace or silk ribbon in antique-inspired colours.

Table centres can be grand or simple. Take inspiration from your favourite period or opt for a simple, almost rustic look for the ultimate in country romance. Vintage florals shouldn’t look too formally arranged so make sure that everything has that ‘just picked’ look, particularly in spring and summer. Think about other ways to use florals too. We love seeing gorgeous garlands behind the ceremony table, adorable welcome wreaths decorating the entrance to The Coach House and Apple Loft not to mention chair decorations that are full of floral prettiness.
